This is my site and it's purple so I like it.
I'm a Pirate and I love Purple, that's kind of my life.
These are my vital facts and interests, some are not vital and some are not interesting but I post them none the less:
VITALS:
I am 19 as of April 5th, 2007
I have blue eyes and blond hair naturally. I'm also as white as sour cream.
I weigh more then I should and I am trying to loose weight. It's hard for many reasons including, when I say, "I'm too fat," people say," Your fine, your average." Which is the worst thing to say to a fat person. I wish one of my peers would just be honest and say something like, "Yeah, stay away from the Buffet." That would motivate me.
According to the government I live in Potsdam but I would say that I live in Jay, NY.
I go to SUNY Potsdam and have declared an Anthropology Major, Archeology Minor and Biological Anthropology Minor. So, yes, being an Anthropologist would be my aspiration.
I'm a female, don't let CJ fool you, it's short and I like it.
I'm not a fan of Mayonnaise, the Pope, or the Alps (I have my reasons)
Purple is my favorite color and "sizzler" is my fav. food.
I'm single and I'm a Lesbian, which will shock many who know me and are reading this for the first time because I've only come out just recently.
INTERESTS AND FEARS:
I have 2 very real phobias. People think that it's funny but that's to be expected when you fear butterflies and tropical fish. Sharks are fine, whales too, I don't really care about them, but colorful clown and angel fish, scare the crap out of me. However, they are avoided easily enough (I stay out of pet shops) while butterflies are not. Some day, in the spring you will be walking around and you'll see a girl running away from a butterfly screaming her head off, that's me.
I like comic books and video games to which many people say, "What a geek." and I say "Yeah? So?" and they respond, "...your...a GEEK!" and I'm like, "I don't get it."
I really like my car. It's a dark blue 2003 Ford Focus and I'm still paying it off. It's pretty sweet for a first car. That's all I know about it though, cars aren't my primary focus.
The Dalai Lama is my hero.
RELIGION:
That's an interesting subject. I like many people in this modern day and age have what Iike to call a medley religion. When your born your mom puts you in a bonnet and brings you to church. In my house that was the Methodists. Anyways the tall and the short of it is that I was agnostic for a bit and then pagan. I never really got into pagan, I did it more for the parties then anything. But now I'm easing into Buddhism. However, the reason I say that many of us have a medley religion is because we are all influenced by the other religions that we have looked into and even those of our friends. At the moment I'm trying to really get into the traditional form of Buddhism but its a process. I don't believe in wakening up one day and saying, "Ah look at the sun, today I shall worship the God Apollo!" No, you learn about a religion for many years, get devoted, and then you can say that your a member. Kids do it in Sunday school so I don't expect any less from adults. However, like I said above, I'm a medley, which is why I still do the May fest and Solstice parties.
POLITICAL VIEWS:
I am registered as Democrat but that doesn't mean that I follow everything they say, I do it mostly so I can vote in the primaries. If a really top notch Republican with good stances on key issues came through (someone with a good record) I'd have to give them fair consideration.
My personal opinion on the 2008 election is that I don't have one!!! I don't know who's going to win but if the primaries were held today, I would vote for Barack Obama. However, I do know that if Obama came up against a candidate like McCain, it wouldn't be an easy race for him.
I believe in:
LINE OF INVISIBLE WORDS!!!!
